Pac Man Live Kv Aw Landscape Blank

PAC-MAN LIVE EXPERIENCE Accessibility

The PAC-MAN LIVE EXPERIENCE is a physical activity suitable for most people aged around 8 to 80 and beyond - as long as you can stay on your feet and move around for about 50 minutes.

There isn’t a strict height restriction, but you’ll be required to wear a PAC-Vest, sign a waiver, and be comfortable standing and walking during the session.

It isn’t currently recommended for people who are pregnant, and while many people with disabilities can take part, reasonable adjustments may be needed, so contacting the team before your visit is advised.

Complementary carer tickets are available for registered carers accompanying disabled guests, and although there aren’t regular quiet sessions, the experience can sometimes be adapted on request.

Because the attraction uses a lot of projection and lighting effects, it’s not recommended for people with photosensitivity.

Chaos Karts Accessibility

Chaos Karts also requires physical ability, but has more defined requirements since you’re driving real electric karts.

Participants must be at least 8 years old and 1.3m tall, and on arrival you may be asked to demonstrate you can safely reach the pedals and steer - if not, you won’t be able to race. If you’re under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult (who can watch from the viewing platform).

Races aren’t suitable for anyone who is pregnant or has conditions such as epilepsy, weak back/neck issues, or any inability to safely operate the kart.

As with PAC-MAN LIVE, all guests sign a waiver before playing, and Chaos Karts also offers free carer tickets and may be able to modify some elements of the experience to help accommodate additional needs.

Chaos Karts likewise uses projection and lighting effects that may not be suitable for people with photosensitivity, and if you prefer not to race you can still watch from the viewing area.

FAQs

Verified carers may attend free of charge during designated access shows, proof of disability will need to be provided (eg. Blue Badge, GP letter). Carers are permitted to participate in the games without charge, subject to availability. The carer must provide all physical assistance themselves; the staff are not able to provide physical support. Please note, free carer tickets are linked to designated access shows or pre-arranged support, rather than standard sessions. If sessions are full, carers may still accompany guests through the briefing and game areas for supervision. Please reach out to Guest Services in advance of your booking.

Yes, the attraction itself is fully wheelchair accessible. All routes throughout the briefing areas and arena itself are accessible. For the games themselves, the PAC-MAN Live Experience is fully wheelchair accessible. For Chaos Karts, accessibility depends on a player’s mobility and ability to control the kart using their arms and legs. We highly recommend reaching out to our Guest Services team ahead of your visit to discuss any accessibility requirements.

Relaxed sessions with reduced music volume can be arranged and we endeavour to adapt sessions for individual needs where possible. Please speak to our Guest Services team ahead of your visit if you require any adjustments.

Please note, ear plugs are available on request however we do not provide ear defenders.

Both the Pac-Man Live Experience and Chaos Karts use projections and lighting effects, therefore they are not recommended for people with photosensitivity.

Accessible toilets are available on the Ground Floor.

Unfortunately, the raised viewing platform is not wheelchair accessible due to a step. However, there are alternative viewing spaces available; Pac-Man can be viewed beside the platform within the arena and Chaos Karts can be viewed safely from behind the barriers beside the platform.

Unfortunately, due to the physical nature of the attraction, the games are not suitable for those who are pregnant.

We would like to take this opportunity to highlight the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme (information can be found at: https://hdsunflower.com/). The purpose of this lanyard scheme is to raise awareness of hidden disabilities and additional needs, and our staff recognise these lanyards. By wearing a sunflower lanyard, our staff are alerted to the fact that you may require additional assistance, such as to be brought forward through a queue, assistance in finding a quiet area, or to be helped to skip a certain section of the attraction.

Assistance dogs are generally permitted, however due to the physical and enclosed nature of the attraction, assistance dogs require pre-approval. Please contact our Guest Services team if you require additional assistance and they will support you.

We will do our best to accommodate you and make adjustments, please contact our Guest Services team if you require additional assistance and they will support you.
